These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Divya Marg mobile application and the website at https://www.divyamarg.in (together, the “Service”), operated by (“Divya Marg”, “we”, “us” or “ our”). By downloading, installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Divya Marg is a digital Naam Jaap (mantra chanting) counter and mala tracking application. It helps you count chants, track daily practice statistics, set reminders, and personalise your chanting experience with features such as haptic feedback, offline usage, volume-button chanting, audio cues, bead styles and multi-language support.

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial, devotional and wellness use. Nothing in the Service constitutes religious instruction, medical advice, or a guarantee of any spiritual, emotional or health outcome.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You may use Divya Marg without creating an account. If we introduce optional accounts or cloud sync in the future, additional terms may apply at that time. You are responsible for any device, operating system permissions, or settings required to run the app.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where permitted by law;
• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• Copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app or its content without our written permission;
• Use automated means to scrape, mirror or replicate the app or website.

4. Your content and data

Chanting counts, streaks, session history and preferences you generate while using the app are stored primarily on your own device so that the Service can work offline. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on what is collected, if anything, and how it is handled.

5. Intellectual property

The Divya Marg name, logo, app design, illustrations, audio cues and underlying software are the property of Divya Marg or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Mantras, deity names and devotional terms referenced in the app belong to the public devotional tradition and are not claimed as our proprietary content.

6. No cost, no in-app purchases

Divya Marg is currently free to download and use, with no paid subscriptions, one-time purchases, or in-app purchases. If this changes in the future, we will update these Terms and our Refund Policy accordingly, and any new payment terms will be presented to you before you are charged.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of loss of locally stored data (for example, due to device loss, reinstalling the app, or clearing app storage). We recommend not relying solely on the app as a permanent record of your practice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Divya Marg shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

9. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the app, add or remove features, or modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and uninstall the app at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or part, at our discretion, including where use violates these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
